In South Korea, a man in his 80s, who was suspected of abusing, was sent to the prosecution by swinging around on the street and hitting his pet puppy which was tied with a lead, several times.

According to police on the 19th, the Seoul Eunpyeong police station sent an 82-year-old man to the prosecution on the 14th of this month on suspicion of violating the Animal Protection Law.

On the 9th of this month, the man was accused of abusing his puppy by hitting it several times with his palm, saying, "Where are you going to escape?"

The animal rights group "Care" has released a video showing the situation at that time and accused the owner of the police. After making the man abandon the ownership of the puppy, the group reportedly recruited foster parents and handed it over to a couple in their 30s who had a same Maltese child dog. A group official said, "Since the new foster couple's home has a garden, there is an environment where dogs can live actively, and since they have another dog, consider that dogs can live without feeling lonely."
