Co-sponsored by KBS and KBS Media, "White Hero" is Korea's premier medical documentary award ceremony program prepared in the wake of COVID-19 to comfort medical professionals struggling at the forefront of epidemics and treatment. It was planned with the concept of visiting the site where the award winners are.
The "White Hero Award" consists of six judges, who select winners in seven categories such as medical care, medical services, and special achievements, and special presenters in each category sweat with prize money and trophies. Will visit the site directly.
In February, actor Kim Young-cheol and singer Kim Soo-chan visited Daegu, which was the biggest battlefield of COVID-19, and met with emergency personnel and nurses of Daegu Medical Center to hold an award ceremony. In light of the current situation in which social distance is being practiced, the girls group LOONA was the presenter, and Son Hae held an on-tact mini concert to encourage the winners.
In addition, Jung Eun-kyung, Director of the Disease Control Agency, and Park Bo Gum, a Navy military band public relations team, will send a message of hope to overcome COVID-19 in an interview with healthcare professionals and the public.
"White Hero" will be broadcast in South Korea from 3:20 pm on the 26th.
