On the 29th, Masok High School in Namyangju, South Korea, said that "SEVENTEEN" member Hoshi (real name Kwon Seung-young) donated a scholarship of 23.1 million won.

According to the education community, Hoshi parents visited his's alma mater Maishi High School and donated a scholarship on behalf of Hoshi, who was busy with his schedule.

Hoshi's parents said, "When my son was in high school, it was difficult to maintain his studies due to family circumstances, but with the consideration of the principal and his teacher, he graduated safely and realized his dream."

They then explained, "Hoshi asked us to use the junior students at my school who couldn't afford it so that they could realize their dreams."

Hoshi also presented the juniors of the dance circle at his alma mater with a CD signed by "SEVENTEEN" members.
