"Group bus moves" from North Korea's Sinuiju to China's Dandong ... for first time in 3 years and 7 months
From North Korea, which had closed its borders due to the COVID-19 virus infection, a group bus passing through the Amnokkan railway bridge connecting Siniju and Dandong in Liaoning Province, China, was captured for the first time in three years and seven months.

According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap News, at around 11:20 am on August 16th, two buses from Sinuiju crossed the Yalu River Bridge and arrived in Dandong, China.

It has not yet been confirmed who is on the bus, but sources with North Korea said, "These buses are related to the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) World Championships, which will be held in Kazakhstan from 19 to 26 this month."

It is reported that North Korea will send a team of about 100 athletes to the world championships this time.

North Korea closed its borders in January 2020, cutting off all human traffic due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in China. After that, in January last year, the operation of the China-North Korea freight train was resumed, and the operation of the freight truck, which had restricted routes this year, was also resumed.
