The camp, which will be held for about 70 elementary school students of ethnic Koreans in Japan, will offer Korean language education and history and culture experience programs for each level. A special lecture on specialized Korean language teaching methods will also be held for 10 Korean-Japanese teachers.
Kim Jae Wook, head of research industry-academia cooperation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, said, "KFS, which has successfully carried out various educational programs for overseas Koreans and has been certified as a Korean language educational institution, Selected as an organization to implement the '2023 Next Generation Korean Language Intensive Camp' by the Cooperation Center for Overseas Koreans. We have prepared a Korean language education program that uses activity techniques to teach history and cultural understanding, and a Korean language education program that allows students and teachers to continue to work together through sustainable education even after they return to Japan."
