On the afternoon of August 12th, four members of the National Federation of Democratic Trade Unions were taken into custody by police as they attempted to raise a banner over the statue of King Sejong at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, South Korea.

These four people were performing in front of the statue of King Sejong the Great, "Preventing the ocean dumping of contaminated water (radioactive treated water)" from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. They were arrested red-handed on suspicion of violating the law on rallies and demonstrations.

It is reported that they performed this performance after holding a disbanding ceremony on the stairs of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Gwanghwamun that day, marking the end of the group's nationwide tour by the Central Unification Instigator.
