World Scout Tournament ends… 2,400 Scouts, final schedule at Incheon Airport = Korea
The 2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree Tournament held in South Korea ended its 11-day schedule on August 11th with the concert and closing ceremony. On the morning of the 12th, some of the soldiers who left for each country spent their last night at Incheon International Airport.

The Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 11th that it is implementing special departure support measures so that members who return to the country after the 2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree can safely depart.

First of all, for the approximately 2,400 Jamboree members waiting at Incheon Airport ahead of departure, a waiting space that can accommodate 4,000 people was set up in the Incheon Airport Terminal 1 and 2 Passenger Terminal Transportation Center and the indoor gymnasium Sky Dome. It is a plan to mobilize all resources so that people can live comfortably.

The members who will be leaving the final day of the camp at the airport on the same day are members who cannot return to their dorms after participating in the jamboree concert because their dormitories are located in rural areas. Among them, 1,500 Japanese members are the most, and 900 other members, including Vietnamese and Polish members, are known.

The corporation extended the operation of the terminal's commercial facilities to 24 hours and deployed about 70 guides on site. In addition, in cooperation with related organizations, free medical examinations and security at airport medical centers and environmental beautification Zauner have been strengthened. Mats, blankets, water and snacks were prepared in the waiting area used by the Scouts.

About 34,000 Jamboree members are expected to depart through Incheon Airport by the 15th, so the corporation will implement special departure support measures during this period.

The Jamboree Organizing Committee supports field offices (2 locations) and dedicated information counters (5 locations) in the airport and builds a close cooperative system with related organizations, including the Jamboree Organizing Committee, to support members.
