McDonald's Korea provides 570 "Happy Burgers" to flood recovery sites
McDonald's South Korea announced on August 4th that it provided a total of 570 'happy burgers' with a Big Mac and drinking water to the flood-affected areas of Chungcheongbuk-do and Jeollabuk-do.

These areas have suffered considerable damage due to the recent torrential rains, such as the influx of earth and sand into crops, houses, and shopping districts, as well as flooding.

A McDonald's official said, "We offered a happy burger to convey our support and gratitude to the volunteers who are working hard to restore the areas affected by the heavy rains. We plan to actively develop support activities in places where support is needed and spread good influence."

The Happy Burger is one of McDonald's representative social contribution activities that began in 2013.
