As of 8:00 am on July 26th, Typhoon No. 5 is moving west through the Bashi Strait (between the Philippines and Taiwan).
The maximum wind speed near the center is 58 m/s and the pressure at the center is 925 hPa. Within a radius of 120 to 180 kilometers from the center, there are strong winds with wind speeds of 24 to 28 meters.
Typhoon No. 5 is expected to move northwest at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour while maintaining its strength.
China's Central Meteorological Observatory has warned of heavy rain and winds that could approach and land on the eastern coastal areas of Fujian and Guangdong provinces on the 27th and 28th.
