The giant panda 'Ya Ya', who returned to the country from the United States, arrived in Beijing on May 29th after completing a 30-day quarantine period in Shanghai.

'Ya Ya' finished its loan period and returned to the country on April 27th for the first time in 20 years. From there, he spent a 30-day quarantine period in a dedicated isolation quarantine station set up at the Shanghai Zoo.

After finishing the quarantine period in Shanghai, 'Ya Ya' arrived in Beijing on a chartered plane and finally returned to the Beijing Zoo around 0:40 am on the 29th (local time). 'Ya Ya' was born in Beijing Zoo in August 2000 and has been on loan to the United States since 2003.

Currently, Ya Ya's health is said to be stable. The Beijing Zoo has prepared a dedicated breeding ground for "Ya Ya", and has established a dedicated breeding, medical and nursing system.

'Ya Ya' is elderly and needs to adapt to the new environment and rest, so there are currently no plans to release it to the public.
