According to South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the latest resolution adopted by the IMO Maritime Safety Commission in London not only states that North Korea's missile launches are a violation of UN Security Council resolutions, but also international navigation and It includes content that strongly denounces that it is an act that seriously threatens the safety of the crew.

The resolution also called on North Korea to comply with IMO agreements and resolutions and to cease illegal missile launches.

Through this resolution, Member States should encourage relevant international organizations, such as the International Civil Aviation Association (ICAO), to enable the IMO to take substantive measures to address the threat to international maritime routes posed by North Korea's repeated missile launches. He urged them to continue to work closely together.
