Korean gov "North satellite launch is illegal" ... "If you force it, you will have to pay a 'reasonable price'!
The South Korean government has warned North Korea about the teaser of its satellite launch program, saying, "If the launch goes ahead, we will have to endure a corresponding price and pain."

South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said in a statement issued by a spokesperson on May 29th that it "strongly warns North Korea of teasing provocations that threaten peace in the region and urges the country to immediately withdraw its illegal launch plans."

"North Korea's so-called 'satellite launch' is a serious violation of the UN Security Council resolution prohibiting all launches using ballistic missile technology, and is clearly unjustifiable for any reason."

"The government will cooperate with the international community on the basis of close cooperation between South Korea, the United States, and Japan, and resolutely respond to North Korea's provocations," it said.

On the other hand, the Japan Coast Guard received a message from North Korea on the same day that it would launch a satellite between 0:00 on May 31st and 0:00 on the 11th of next month, according to Japan's Kyodo News.

The reason North Korea teased Japan about its satellite launch plan is that Japan is between South Korea and the region to which North Korea belongs, according to the World Navigation Warning Service (WWNWS), which is operated by the resolution of the General Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). This is because it is a navigation area coordinating country.

However, it has been reported that North Korea has not separately teased its launch plans to international organizations such as the IMO.
