Female YouTuber 'sexually harassed' by passer-by during live streaming = Korea
A Korean female YouTuber was shown being sexually harassed by a drunken passer-by during an outdoor 'makgeolli mokbang' (live-style online broadcast where the host interacts with the viewers and eats a large amount of food).

A few days ago, an online bulletin board posted an article titled, "What happens when a woman was drinking makgeolli outdoors."

According to this report, on the 3rd of last year, a female YouTube channel with 30,000 subscribers was live-streaming while "drinking alone" in front of a restaurant in Taegu (Daegu). She was sitting outdoors, drinking makgeolli and eating snacks, when suddenly a man approached the woman, but she realised the man was drunk and said 'Good evening. Take care" and tried to avoid him. However, the man touched the woman's body and said, 'Do you want to drink makgeolli with me?' When the woman refused, he said, "Hey! Let's do it!" and made loud sexual harassment remarks.

To this, a female YouTuber said, "It's really strange. He (that person) doesn't even go to the bathroom and urinates on the street. It's faster to go to the other world before you fix the problem," she said angrily.

The scene was live-streamed on YouTube, and netizens who watched it were advised to report it to the police. However, the female YouTuber refused to report, saying, "I don't want to be involved. I'm not drunk yet, so I don't want to leave this seat."

However, at the end of the live streaming, she said, "I looked back at this video later and regretted trying to escape from that situation without reporting it. We will be more cautious and will report if necessary."

After that, it turned out that the female YouTuber filed a "contempt charge" against a man who made sexual harassment remarks against her.
